We recently came across this amazing piece of Native NZ Red Beech which started out as a joist in a Christchurch Industrial Building prior to the Earthquakes, and decided it would look amazing as a coffee table!
The Beech top has been paired with some locally made Hairpin Legs, powdercoated white to finish the piece off.
Red Beech is a protected Native New Zealand wood with a fantastic red colouration that ranges from deep red to a light 'pinkish' tone. It is hard wearing and often considered one of the most stable NZ Timbers.
